My name is Slavka, usually called Slavi by friends. I'm rather silent and introverted girl, however, I'm super friendly, kindhearted, easy-going and love meeting new people and making friends. I'm shy and quiet at first, but you get to reveal my true madness once I realise we vibe. ;)

I love reading, I have been a passionate reader since childhood, and almost 3 years of working part-time at a bookstore enhanced this love even more. One of my life goals is to own some huge old Victorian mansion somewhere in England. The biggest room I would dedicate to a library, with bookshelves from the very bottom of the walls up to the ceiling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason I'm here is the desire to meet up with the local people and learn about the new cultures while travelling. I have always loved learning new things and discovering beautiful places :) I see Couchsurfing as a kind of a bridge that can help me with it.
Now, in 2017 is the first time I'm starting to travel (did not have much time and money before) and use Couchsurfing actively. So please do not get scared if you see no references in my profile. It's not that I'm some kind of a murderer or something, it's just I have not really stayed with anyone yet :P

Books: I'm a very passionate reader, so it is pretty difficult to pick the most favourite books, but here are those I really really REALLY loved: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Oliver Twist, The seventh day,...I also enjoy horror stories a lot. <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In August 2017 I overcame my fear and travelled by plane for the first time, and survived! ;)
