About Me
Hey! You've clicked on my profile! How are you?
I'm Dani, from Argentina, i've studied hotel and restaurant management (But I've always been cooking). Since I was 19 I've started traveling and working on my own, first in my country and later in the rest of the world, I love to eat, learn and eat again the marvelous countries' gastronomy. Also i like to learn about the history and culture of those places that i visit or live in. I like playing chess, board and card games.
I love to do outdoor sports like trekking, cycling, swimming or skiing, go fishing or picking mushrooms and get involved in nature.
I was living 5 years in Andorra where I could travel around Europe and meet a lot of extraordinary people, so if you want to know or enjoy Argentinian food and culture don't doubt it and send me a message :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I like to meet new people around the world and, why not? save some money to continue travelling. I am willing to help you with some tasks that you have to do, practice language or cook for you, that could be a WIN-WIN exchange!
Interests
Live my life as I want, travelling and living while I discover myself, sharing what I know with people that I meet.
Music, Movies, and Books
Mainly I like to listen to international rock / indie / Reggae bands, but there are always some good musicians to listen to. I'm always reading a book (Now I'm reading Sapiens, from Yuval Noaḥ Harari). I like to read different kinds of books, lately I'm reading mostly historical books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first adventure far from home was in the argentinean patagonia, i was living and working 5 months in a rural hotel, without electricity power and telephone signal, there i've found that in life there is more than Social media and life in the city.
A night on Sahara desert.
Snorkeling in Thailand and the Caribbean sea.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you whatever I know, maybe some culinary things or an adventure into nature. Also I can help you with something that you have to do or just chill out in a relaxed place and see what happens.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences and recommendations on the places that I've been to. I challenge you to drink a Mate! (A kind of Argentinean tea). I'm always drinking it and I like to share it with those who dare to try it!
