I am a 26 year old medical student currently in my fifth year studying in Cluj Napoca, Romania. I was born into a family of 7 in Germany (Aachen) and lived there for 11 years before moving to Belgium where I spent my adolescence and young adult life before moving to Romania for my studies.
Through my father who comes from France and my mother who comes from Spain and part of my growing up in Germany and Belgium and now also my studies in Romania I had the privilege to grow up with several languages and to live different cultures that have influenced me a lot in my life so far!

I have always been a very extroverted person who thought more of meeting local people from all over the world than spending the night in a hotel. In addition, of course, I love to travel and I am still a student and very limited financially. If you can combine a valuable encounter, a trip and getting to know a new city/culture at the same time I always find it brilliant.

Through my roommates I first came in contact with people on Couchsurfing and thus have hosted people several times (not through this account, so I don't have any references yet) however I am now traveling myself and would like to get a first experience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The journeys that have influenced me the most and during which I was able to understand a lot about myself and the world were, on the one hand, a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo for development cooperation purposes and, on the other hand, a simple but contemplative pilgrimage (Camino de Compostella) through Portugal and Spain.
In addition, I have traveled a lot in my life with family/friends or even alone and have been able to expand my horizons in any encounters and have taken a lot from the people.

I can offer couchsurfers a cozy place in my shared apartment in Cluj Napoca. We can host up to 6 people here and are multilingual international friends studying together (in addition to me, a French female student and another Belgian male student live here).
We have bed linen and towels available and are happy to share our culinary specialties with our guests and look forward to a great time together.
