About Me

My biggest passion has always been travelling and getting to know new cultures, people and places, and I guess that's what defines me the most.
I'm extremely independent, I adapt easily and most of all I'm curious about everything I don't know. I am a cheerful and very optimistic person, always ready for adventure and to face the unknown.
I like a good night out with fun people but the truth is that what I like the most is simply to have open-minded meaningful conversations with people, perhaps in front of a good meal or drink, sharing knowledge, travel stories and experiences.
I'm a very honest and respectful person and I deeply appreciate people who have these two qualities in common with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'd love to meet up with you, beautiful people around the world!!! :-)
I love nature and its immense beauty, historical places and their architecture, but I do believe the best part of every travel is the human side of it. Meeting locals and also people who have made the choice to live abroad, it's a truly refreshing and very inspiring experience. All the people I've met so far in my travels changed my life in one way or the other, and changed me as a person as well. When we meet someone and there's a sincere will to exchange knowledge and help each other, that's when we learn and grow the most. I'm new on Couchsurfing and can't wait to try this new experience and share some time with you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A bit over 2 years ago me and my friends were driving at night in Western Australia to reach the Pinnacles Desert. Little did we know that cangaroos come out after sunset when the temperature drops, not to mention the fact that they're particularly attracted to cars' lights and they're huge animals, no kidding. We had an accident, thank goodness we were driving slow and nobody (including the cangaroo that hit us) got hurt. We had a scare thou, thus decided to pull over the car and stop for 5 min at the side of the road to calm down. We looked around and realized we were literally in the middle of nowhere, just us and the deserted road. But despite the night-time, we could see around perfectly and had no need for lights, very strange. We looked up in the sky and there it was the answer to all that light..the Milky Way in all its majesty was shining so violently, almost fiercely I'd say. I felt the sky so close and the earth so round, that for a moment I was utterly sure I was just a little character inside a glass snow globe.
So I thank the cangaroo for hitting us (and for not hurting us or himself), for that was one of the most intense times of my life, those kind of moments when you really fully understand the power of mother nature and truly appreciate how lucky you are to be in this world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is caring!
To me, the most important thing in life is to learn, always and constantly. To evolve, that's the ultimate purpose of it all.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love having nice talks with people and be surprised by all that we can learn from one another. I'm very independent and respectful, so I'm very flexible and can adjust to the needs and will of the host, no pressure at all.
I'm currently collecting lots of info and data for the travel blog that I'm planning, so please feel free to share your ideas on the best things a foreigner/traveller should know about your country. And if there's any place that you would like me to advertise for free when the blog will be up and running, or an interesting story that you think should be told and read, please go ahead. I'm happy to take good advice :-)
