About me ! I am student. I just finished my bachelor degree and I am currently taking a gap year to travel the world. I have been traveling for 10 months and my trip has become more of a journey. It started in Morocco for five months where I did a student exchange then I decided to go down to West Africa using public transport. After 3 more months I found myself in Guinea-Bissau where I decided to go to Portugal where I stayed 2 months. And here I am in Turkey!
I have no specific plan or end. I visit places that interest me and make things has I go.

I am curious and open-minded. I try to understand the world around me. This is why I couchsurf and volunteer so I get to meet with local people and learn about the places I visit.

I also wear an awesome hat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is important for me to meet with the people of the country I visit and get a feel of the culture. I think Couchsurfing is one the best way to achieve this goal. The Couchsurfing community is awesome and I don’t think I would have get this far in this trip without it. I have been inspired by the people I met and when I come back home I would like to become a host in order to give back to the community.

I rode the iron ore train in Mauritania inside a cargo wagon which took me 400km into the Sahara desert.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy talking about my home province of Quebec and share my knowledge about its history and culture. I also sometimes carry some maple syrup with me when I travel so I can make you discover one the most typical Canadian food.
