I'm Jon, I'm an American citizen, and I'm currently finishing up my Sound Technology degree in Liverpool. Studying in another country has allowed me to visit places I had never imagined I would. While traveling alone, though, it can be hard to meet new people. I'm looking to make friends who enjoy talking about their interests, experiences, and lifestyles; and hopefully I can share some interesting stories of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to make music; I've spent a big part of the last year writing and recording an instrumental album with a friend. I enjoy going to gigs as well. Generally I listen to a lot of instrumental and folk influenced music, but I do go for something angsty every now and then. I don't watch a lot of movies, but I do like reading books. Unfortunately I've slowed down on reading over the past few years at university. I love adventure stories, especially those with modern-world grit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share whatever I can with the people I'm around. Though I don't have much to offer physically, I enjoy cooking, telling jokes and stories, going for a pint, doing anything I can to help out.
