Sveiki or Hello in Latvian!

Last few years I've been working with a lot of foreign students visiting my country, showing them around and just enjoying the culture and unique experience they bring with them.

Latest highlights include organizing lasertag. If you haven't tried it I highly suggest you do so as it is one of the most thrilling and cardio intesive extreme sports I've done.

I have some yet to be surfing dreams that will be realized at a later date, but other than that I am open for culture, new friends and good time!

I enjoy meeting local people who can share their perspective and show me the non-touristic side of things, I find that part most intriguing. I have many stories and recepies to share with you, would love to tell you about my amazing country - Latvia, it’s culture and people!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I really enjoyed a documentary film called "In search of Sugar man" which tells a tale about a man who was a rockstar and didn't even know it.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

We were once on this big raft coursing Throught Daugava. I was there, with a coctail in my one hand and a book in another catching rays of the sun to get that summer tan. As I was sleeping on this blow up matrass, this kid came and started pulling the matress. Apparrently he wanted that tan too. He was pulling his hardest as the matress slipped out of his hands and he fell into the water backwards. This kid didnt know how to swim and was not wearing a life jacket. Imagine the horrors on his moms face - IF she actually saw this moment, but being a swift young lad with my adrenaline pumping my beast like reflexes I grabbed the kid as he was already some good two feet underwater and pulled him out with one hand. What could more amazing than saving someones life.
