Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm 23 years old. Lived my whole life in Turkey -except for the last two months- in 3 different cities. I traveled extensively in Turkey, with about 50 cities, and this is my first time abroad. I'm ready to travel all around the world as much as possible. I'm thrilled about it. Anyway, this part should be about me :) I'm pleased with who I am; I'm not saying I'm perfect, but I tend to accept my mistakes, learn from them, and use them to build my persona to improve. I sometimes get anxious about the universe, being, and stuff like that, but mostly I'm energetic and positive. My biggest fear is losing the people I love. I have a lovely family; they come from half Turkish and half Islamic cultures, which have significantly influenced me. We love hospitality and sharing what we have. I love seeing the smile in people's eyes when treated with sincere interest and care.
On the other hand, despite and unlike my family, I don't believe in Islam for six years now. I still love the culture's good aspects. These are important because they are my milestones. I have been interested in sports for quite some time of my being, almost half of it. I climbed in high school and continued climbing in college. I was on the national team for two years. I competed in many championships and figured out my way to good rankings. I even found the climbing team at my university; to conclude, climbing also shaped me. I will fill up my other hobbies and interest below. I think that is some enough information for now :) I hope we can meet in person. Thank you for your time trying to figure me out :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to travel around the world, meet with colorous cultures, and have lovely friendships, this app gives exclusive advantages for this purpose. Also, it has its own culture and spirit. I enjoy using it.
Interests
I love hanging out with my friends, finishing a movie, cooking a nice dinner for loved ones, waking up to the sunrise, and drinking Turkish tea with biscuits -also with milk; I love it-meeting exciting people and animals, and I love creating. Like a wooden chair or a Star Wars figure :) Making something from start to finish is very satisfying. I love going on adventures and am terrified of them at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I thought about this for like 5 minutes; I guess I don't believe I ever did anything amazing if we think amazingness at a worldwide level. However, my most amazing thing would be the moments when I feel alive and aware. Sometimes, not always, I feel a sudden awakening, especially when I'm depressed or after a devastating event. Even though I have lots of reasons to feel bad, I feel lucky to be alive. I remember moments like those :) It is hope and curiosity that make me feel amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach sports science and how you can climb in theory. I can share my experiences and memories. We can talk about movies, philosophy, your and my culture and whatever you want. I would love to listen to your experiences, interests, and your life if you would like to share them with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sincere smile, a warm house and of course..., a couch.
