Hello there! I'm 20-year-old 3rd year medical student from Lithuania. Not that long time ago I asked my friends what description of me would be the most spot on and surprisingly, the answer was "Everything you do in life is very spontaneous and random". So the first random fact you need to know about me is that even though my name is Evelina, you'd never hear someone calling me by my real name, so every variation of it, starting from Eva and ending with Evkinis, is welcome. What's more, if I had to choose one character trait that would also describe me the most accurately, it would be simplicity. I see beauty in every single detail, from the first snow in the winter to the smallest things like dried flowers. I consider myself to be quite an open-minded girl with a strong opinion and due to this, deep, provocative and open conversations without any boundaries are my favorite. I'm very interested in Eastern philosophy, so if you want to talk about Buddhism, the meaning of life, haunted houses, time traveling or even that cute dog you saw yesterday I'm a perfect person for that. Lastly, I love the old school way of communication, so if you like sending letters as much as I do, I'm up for a penship!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Although my spectrum of music is very broad, I especially enjoy rock. Indie, psychodelic, alternative... You name it - I bet I love it. As far as performers go, Radiohead is my all-time favorite band, I also adore King Gizzard&The Lizard Wizzard, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Mac Demarco. Although my secret jam is Britney Spears, I enjoy a lot of the good old music of The Beatles, The Turtles, Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra and also can’t forget to mention my love for Chopin and Rachmaninoff.

Talking about books, Gabriel García Márquez and Marcel Proust are a few of my favorite writers but I also enjoy reading about Eastern culture, something more spiritual in general, for instance, the teachings of the Zen Master Seung Sahn. My choice of books depends on my mood!:)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I completed Camino de Santiago pilgrimage trip and walked from Portugal to Spain on foot. It was probably the most evocative time of my life. Also, I’m a CPR instructor and taught almost 1000 people how to save a life!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you how to solve the Rubik's cube in less than a minute and rap the crappiest songs you can think of. Also, some CPR or first aid skills, you’re always safe with me haha!
