I'm originally from Vietnam but have been living in Auckland for the past 9 years. I recently became a New Zealand citizen.

I work in Marketing and enjoy singing, dancing, walking in nature, playing the piano, reading, practicing Yoga, meditating, and SUP boarding in my free time.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Traveling isn't just about seeing new places; it's about experiencing them through the eyes of the locals. Couchsurfing allows me to do just that, making my journeys more enriching and authentic.

By staying with hosts, I get the opportunity to learn about their way of life, share my own experiences, and create meaningful friendships. I also enjoy hosting travelers, offering them a glimpse into my world and helping them feel at home.

(I used to host travelers through a shared account with my ex. Now that we've parted ways, I've created my own account to continue my Couchsurfing journey).

I embarked on an unforgettable 16-day trek through the Himalayas, reaching the renowned Thorong La Pass, the world's highest mountain pass at an elevation of 5,416 meters.

I'm always eager to learn new things! I'd love to pick up some local languages, discover traditional recipes, and learn about different cultures and customs. I'm also interested in learning new musical instruments, and outdoor activities like surfing.

Share:
I can share stories and experiences from my travels and life in Vietnam, Thailand, New Zealand. I'm happy to cook Vietnamese dishes and introduce you to our cuisine. I can also share mindfulness practices, yoga routines, and meditation techniques that have helped me stay balanced and peaceful. Most importantly, I'm happy to share good conversations and build meaningful connections.
