About Me

Through all my life I got many different interests. Football, basketball player, skater, drummer, scientist and now I’m trying my best as a traveller. I like walks and sightseeing since I was a boy. I was traveling around Europe but only with some kind of organised groups for years. At collage I started to interest in Architecture and History. How couldn’t I? I started to live in the most beautiful city in Poland. More than one year ago, together with my friends we started to organise our own trips. Low cost, usually uncomfortable, with many kilometres to go every day but we felt a lot of satisfaction after every one . Started from the City Cracow, then then the suburbs, we finally started to explore whole Poland, countries surrounding Poland(Czech, Slovakia, Ukraine) and this more distant like Hungary, Italy, Romania or Moldova. I know that there is still so much to see, so many different people to meet and so many other cultures, religions and points of view and I want to get to know as many of this thinks as possible.
About my life in Cracow. I’m studying Energy Engineer in the second degree. I’m living in students house so that’s why I can’t offer people to host in my place (only in special cases like really difficult situations) but I can easily show You the city and even places more distant if I only have time. I live here for four years so I think I know the city quite good (not only a well-known, touristic places but also this, where are no tourists). I like to hear someone stories about traveling and other places and share with mine.
Every time when I’m abroad with my friends I’m the person who have a contact with people living there, I have to communicate with them about accommodation, transport, attractions and so on. I thought this situation is because I speak English quite good but the same thing is in countries like Hungary, Romania or Moldova where I don’t know their languages but still I can communicate with people every time :D
I find myself open for ideas and other people, really tolerant and helpful. I’m disciplined if necessary but I like parties and have fun. I love nature and spend time outside so long distant walks, lasting even all day, is what I’m trying to do every time I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Everyone who is familiar with typical Poles and their behavior see that we are generally living in our closed environment, being jealous that others (people fromother country) got better lives and being suspicious 'how does he got that money'. Generally Poles are always unsatisfied with their lives and looking down on others. Generally... I want to show that not everyone thinks that way, that despite what People says there are tolerant, communcative, and opened for others people in Poland. I want to show that being in Poland you should feel save and free. You can easyly meet friendly, talkative People that will stay in your mind for longer. And maybe Poles, we are different from the others but I think you should visit Poland and judge us by yourself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a modest person but I like to share what I got, and even when I don't have money I'm trying to give some present to my host, be nice and try to be remembered in a good way. I don't need much, just a piece of floor to sleep and I will be very grateful.
