Hey guys! :)

So I've finally returned to Germany, after having lived in the UK (Kent to be more precise) for the past 6 years, where I not only went to school, but also finished my undergraduate studies at University.

Right now I'm living in a shared house in Bonn with a friend and am back to studying in uni, though this time with a completely different degree and mindset, since Economics didn't really grab my attention too much. Instead Philosophy is what really struck me and although still at the very start, I can see that it interests me on so many more levels than Economics ever managed to.

In regards to my hobbies, I love exploring new cultures, learning other languages and just generally enjoy exchanging ideas and experiences we have all made in this world. Sports, adventures and a huge chunk of humor has to be added to that. :) Compassion and respect for others is always a must.

Since my work live is coming closer and closer I now plan to utilize the time and explore as much as I can.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a very new concept for me, but several friends have recommended it to me (usually I just used Airbnb).

I believe getting to know a city only really works when you spend time there with locals, who know their way around much better than a tourist guide would suggest.... and honestly it's much more exciting to not only read where a special attraction is hidden, or where the best fish can be eaten, but instead to immerse in the experiences of a local, who may (if lucky) even tell you a funny or meaningful anecdote about a place or two :)

I love the works of Albert Camus, listen to almost all kinds of music (except maybe death metal) depending on my mood. I rarely watch movies, but instead prefer reading a lot.
