About Me

Last year was the most difficult time of my life because I lost my mother to cancer.

Between my two jobs as an indoor rock climbing route setter and a sales associate for an outdoor retail company, and spending all my free time with my mother and family, there was never any time for myself.

Since then my sister and brother both had their first born children. They have their happiness. I need to find mine once again.

My mother loved to travel. It's only because of her that I am able to do so. I'm forever thankful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people and the places they call home. I want to not only see cultures but feel them from the heart.

My mother welcomed everyone and gave what she could. With Couchsurfing, I see likeminded individuals who want to share what they can to make humanity what it should be.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any music with soul. From drum and bass to house, RnB, hip hop, the list goes on.

Depending on my mood I'll watch anything. If I want to turn my brain off, I'll watch Hollywood movies. If I want to be more engaged, I'll watch documentaries, foreign films, or independent ones.

I don't read much nowadays but it was mostly about human adventure, war philosophies, or biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once invited to help decorate an extravagant 3 day wedding in Klosters, Switzerland atop a closed ski mountain lodge which took about 9 days to prepare.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me your culture and I'll share you mine.

I can also take you out to dinner and drinks!
