About Me

It's never easy to make a description about oneself so I guess I should start saying that I'm an open mind person and traveler who wishes to keep discovering the world, not only by travelling through it, which is always interesting to meet other countries and their cultures, but mostly to meet nice people and learning different ways of living.
I may travel far away or near home, but in every where there's someone or something happening and I don't want to miss a bit, when you get to know other places and ideologies, you get to understand the world much better and in many senses, and I believe it's necessary for us to become more humans and humble, to remember the little things that are more important than belonging here or there.
Whenever I journey I don't do tourism, I respect and adapt to the new location I am visiting or willing to live in. My philosophy is wherever you go do as you see and try to learn something new, thus I'll never stop walking and growing, as long and as far as my steps will take me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I believe it is a practical and great idea that some talented people figured out, its philosophy is perfect for those people who wishes to travel in a different way, considering the countries and its local people the main interest of their journey.
Rather than just passing by or increasing the traditional touristic tender in which sometimes we lose the real meaning of travelling, I also understand that there are many ways to help the economy of a country so I respect all ways, I personally enjoy better this alternatives which are in fact closer to my personality and interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have just one type of music but many styles and I guess it depends on the feeling the music or the musician gives, on my mood and also the atmosphere where the sound is played, sometimes at home, with friends or at a concert.
I enjoy Folk music, Soul, Pop, and sometimes a good Techno session or indie music, but I can dance over different music and have fun with it, not really fond for mainstream music though but we never know...
The same with cinema but I must confess that I'm a bit binger with some TVs series though I always enjoy the good cinema whether is a classical or an author movie, as long as is not too metaphysical.
I don't read as much as I would like lately, I study lots of literature and history, my favorite authors are Shakespeare, Cormac McCarthy, Bret Harte, José Luis Sampedro, Kate Chopin, or Thomas Dylan's poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lately I have found three abandoned dogs on the middle of the road, near my countryside home, summer is approaching and some awful people leave their pets in the mountains, maybe thinking that someone will take care of them, so is not rare to find many, also cats.
Though the last two months it has been crazy, the last dog I've found I took it to the police station, as I usually do to check if they have their identification, happily for this time he wasn't abandoned but lost and their owners were looking for him for days, they were so happy to find their puppy that they insisted to invite me for lunch, so today I can say I have met a very nice couple that have become friends.
The other two dogs weren't so lucky but I took them to the dog shelter and at least they are now waiting for an adoption, it may not be an incredible thing to explain but to me those are the little things that matters the most, to always do the right thing and help people whenever I have the occasion, since life has often a boomerang effect, if we do fine not only we'll feel better but also we might receive the same.
