I'm Chisco a young filmmaker from Guatemala, I'm currently finishing my university grade in Spain. I’m a free soul always trying to live new adventures, I’m really passionate about image and the way we see it depending on our age, culture or gender. I like art a lot so most of my traveling reasons are connected to something like a concert, an exhibition, a cultural Event a fair or a festival. I’m a people person and I really enjoy deep conversations that connect you to people not only in surface but in the true essence, because I think we can always learn from others. I really like to talk and make new friendships.

I’m a 90’s kid so I love pop punk, rock and pop music, like Blink 182, Sum 41, Green Day, Panic at the Disco, Linkin Park, System Of a down and most of the MTVs classic. But my dad has always had a good taste on music so Queen, The Cars, The police, REO Speedwagon, and all the 80’s classic are a big part of my repertoire. Also classical music a consequence of being raised by my grandparents.

I have to say that music that’s more recent like Coldplay, The Script, Matusyahu, Imagine Dragons, Post Malone, Wiz Khalifa Khalid, Drake, 21 pilots, The Chainsmokers have a good mood in me,

And have to recognize that I’m Latino so the Latin dancing music, Bachata, salsa merengue and Trap makes its work on me.

I’m a cinephile I really like auteur cinema that involves a visual experience, but I also enjoy a lo the Hollywood blockbusters I think that (almost) every film deserves a chance to be seen.

I like to read a lot about filmmaking and art history.
