I am Birgitta, 55 years old, mother of three 'children', who are living in different places of the world between Berlin and St. Petersburg. They have been traveling a lot.
This fact and also my job (I am working with young migrants from several countries) made me very curious to find out about the difference between the ways of life in different countries and places.
Actually I'm taking a year off from work, a Sabbatical for to have the possibility of traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think, it is the best way to find out about other people, countries and ways of every day life, sharing little space, maybe cooking together typical dishes of different places... making new friends...
