Overview
About Me
Hi everybody, my name is Ilka. I am a 21 years old student from Hanover, now living in Göttingen. After spending half a year in Russia as a volunteer, assisting German language classes at a school in the beautiful city Saratov, started to study English and french.
Music and Books are my daily necessities, and dancing is the motion I could not live without. So I love to go to concerts and having great night outs with my friends!
I am excited to get to know you guys and to have some great adventures together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My biggest wish is to see as many different places in this World, as possible, to learn new things, meet new people, to exchange ideas with them and get inspired by all the beautiful minds surrounding me – And I guess traveling is the best way to do that. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to not only see those many places but also experience them in a very special way; by giving the chance to be with locals who can help me get an authentic, not too touristic picture of their hometowns.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music.. just all of it.
My favorite book right now probably is Hector and the Search for Happiness, written by Francois Lelord.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once stayed up all night with some random people I firs (and last) met that evening. We sat by a little campfire at the beach of the lake baikal, watched the sun go down and then rise again.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As my parents come from Hungary I can share some great Hungarian folklore dances and songs and especially delicious Hungarian dishes.
