About Me
Ciao!
I'm Sara, I am 24 and I come from Belluno, a town in northern Italy surrounded by the Dolomites mountains.
I have recently graduated from the University of Padua, where I studied to become a teacher in kindergarten and primary school.
Since November I've started an experience as an aupair in Dublin to improve my English for teaching it in Italy when I'll come back. I'm really lucky because I have all the weekends off and this is great because I have the opportunity to travel a lot and to visit many beautiful places. For example I drove around the Ring of Kerry, I did a sea cave kayaking experience around the Hook Head under the rain and the hailstorm and I rode a bike around one of the Aran Island :) As you can see, I'm trying to do my best for enjoying Ireland as much as I can!
I am an easygoing, friendly and quiet person who likes travelling, meeting new people and new cultures.
I have been a scout since I was 8 years old and this experience helped me a lot because I've learnt to respect the other people and the nature, to taste food even if I don't like them, to sleep in uncomfortable places, to try to help people in need, to try to do always my best, to walk in the mountains with an heavy bag on my shoulders...
I live near the mountains and I like skiing and trekking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and visiting new places. In particular, I love visiting different countries and cities with local people because for me that's the real way to experienced a place. When I visit a new place I don't like to be only a simple tourist but I'd like to know the stories about that place and about the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love watching movies and in particular tv series, I think I'm a little bit addicted!
I'm an huge fan of "The Lord of the Rings" (both book and movie).
One of the best book that I have ever read is "Qualcuno con cui correre" by David Grossman.
Some of my favourite singers/bands are Ed Sheeran, The Script, Imagine Dragons, One Republic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month in Uganda as a volunteer in an orphanage with children from 6 months to 3 years old. It was an amazing experience, not easy at all but I'll never forget it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher so I love teaching and learning :) I would love to improve my English and I can teach some Italian if someone is interested. I can play the guitar but I'm not the best so I can teach something but I can learn more!
