I am funny, easygoing girl. I love to meet new people and experience and discover new things. I lived most of my life in Venice, however I now live in Bologna where I study medicine and try to figure out what life is about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was brought up in Venice, and love my city to the moon and back, however I do realize how frustrating it can become. It is very crowded, you often you get ripped off, end up in horrible places, but especially I do have the feeling lots of people leave without really experiencing the wonderful things the city can offer.
I think that if tourists had the chance to live as a "Venetian" they would appreciate the city much more, and, furthermore would contribute to a healthy type of tourism, rather the one that is sponsored by souvenir shops and expensive restaurants.
Because of this I am sure that the best way to see a city is with someone who lives there and get the chance to really know what the life in that particular city is about.
