Hello!

My name is Hanne and I'm a 27 year old Dane who is currently traveling around New Zealand. I am here on a working holiday visa and my hope is to travel for a bit and then return to Auckland and find some work.

I finished my education in September 2016 and just needed some adventure after some many years of school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can be lonely to travel all by yourself and you need to do something actively to meet other people. Couch surfing is a brilliant way to do that. I like meeting new people and hope to do so on my trip.

Right now I'm in no position to host anyone, but I'm hoping that will change when I get back to Auckland and find a place to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Oh I am so boring, I do not listen to a lot of music, I usually just put on a random Spotify playlist. I do however love jazz and especially to go out and find it live at bars.

Movies - I pretty much watch everything expect horror movies. It depends on my mood.

It's been a long time since I read a book, I think it's because my studies kind of stole the joy of reading. But when I read I love a good thriller or crime novel.

I have walked the Camino de Santiago. From St. Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostella.

I was born a grew up in Greenland, so I can tell you about what it is like to live on the world's biggest island. And I do not go anywhere without having some Danish candy on me.. and I am often willing to share ;)
