About Me

Hello,
I'm on my gap year right now, next year I will go to the UK, to start university, which is both scary and really exciting.
I joined couchsurfing, because I am too shy to make new friends without having some sort of previous connection while I'm travelling but I would love to meet new people from different countries, with different back-grounds and stories, because I think you can only truly understand a culture through it's people and traveling is not only about seeing the most famous sights, for me at least. (But I do love beautiful sights.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet with the locals, and also I would be happy to show you Budapest.

Interests

I would like to be a social psychologist in the distant future, but I am also interested in history (I know the most random facts from history.).
I enjoy fine arts, and I also love to draw and make DIY stuff. I prefer reading over sleeping, which is not always a wise choice.
I was raised to love being outdoors and our family and friends used to go hiking regularly.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Lord of The Rings (Both of the books and movies)
The Hobbit (I'm thinking about the book, not the movies, even though I really liked the way Martin Freeman portrayed Bilbo.)
Charlotte Brontë - Jane Eyre
Leo Tolstoy - War and Peace
Neil Gaiman novels :)

moovies: All of Hayao Miyazaki's work, especially Princess Mononoke and Porco Rosso.
La Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain

music: Grimes, Florence and the machine, Daughter, ODESZA, M83, flora cash and a lot of soundtrack

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Croatia by hitchiking and lived on a boat last summer with my friend.
