About Me
Hi everybody! I´m Cristina, I´m 29 years old and I am from Galicia.
I have been living in Belfast and Madrid and since November, 2015 I am living in Santiago de Compostela. Something I have to confess is that I have not done the Camino de Santiago (Yet!).
I love travelling, meeting new people, listening to the music and going to festivals, watching films and tv shows, trekking, trying different food and drinks from all around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would say travelling is not only amazing because of the beautiful places you can see but also because of the people you meet while travelling.
The experience you get when someone who knows the place joins you is much more rewarding than visit the place on your own, as it allows you to run away from the most turistic path and to know the real place and real dayly living at those places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month living with a family in Managua, Nicaragua, while volunteering in a local association there, and it was really amazing. They were so lovely with me that I will never forget it.
I am also very proud of making the summit to Salkantay in Peru and to Mountain Machu Picchu (ffrom where you have the most rewarding views of the Sacred Machu Picchu village).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Galician or Spanish, as well as to join you for a walk in the city in order to show you the most lovely spots of Santiago.
I hope to learn about other cultures and perspectives, as well as other ways of seeing life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My place is really small but I can share a good couch and cold local beers.
