Hi everybody! My name's Vendy and I'm 21 years old czech student of arts and illustration. I love spending time with interesting people, getting inspiration and learning things. I love art in all ways, creating and trying new stuff. I do illustration mainly aimed to children, because I love kids, but I'm open to anything. I have already written and illustratet two books for children, but these are the faculty's property so once I finish my studies, I'd love to make books for children that would reach the bookstroes. I also really love animals and plants and nature! I work at the Zoological and botanical garden in Pilsen where I'm currently studing. My work here is to teach children or teenagers about animals, our planet, their protection and why are they beautiful and important. I love this job! My second job is in tearoom, where i serve people delicious teas, specialities and hookah. This job is also very lovely, as I enjoy working with people and serve them to be content and happy. In my free time I usually go on trips with my friends or my dear boyfriend or I enjoy being alone and listen to music, read books and learn new things about animals. I also love to take care of them - i do own one leopard gecko, some fish, we used to own various species of african beetles and once I move back to Prague after school I would love to own some snakes because I love them!!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Mainly because i fell in love with travelling and meeting new friends of different culture and this site seemed like the best way to connect with likeminded people and find a way how to stay in foreign countries. Looking forward to all adventures that await me! :)

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

This one is quite difficult to answer, because every time someone asks about my fav book/movie/music, I forget it. But from books and movies I do like fantasy, sci-fi, psychological and experimental pieces, not american comedies and blockbusters and definitely not movies like avengers, Hobbit 1-3, and all the superhero movies that are now in cinemas all the time and so on. These are some i liked: Donnie Darko, Mad Max Fury road, LOTR, Interstellar, from series it is Game of Thrones of course, Hannibal, Westworld, Taboo, Stranger things, Black Mirros, The office, Gravity falls..
Concerning music my taste varies a lot, depending on situation. But I like these for example Low Roar, Wardruna, Bones, Sad lovers and giants, Gyvata, The NBHD, Arctic monkeys, Bastille, Sleep party people, movie soundtracks

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Wow this is even harder than the music/movies/books thing. I have experienced many amazing things in zoo where i work like feeding giraffes, feeding pregnant rhino, playing with wolf or on my travels like swimming in the sea with beautiful fish and corals which was so beautiful it drove tears to my eyes.. but one of the many amazing things that I'VE DONE could be cleaning a stream out of trash ans stuff close to our cottage and collecting plastics and trash neraby. Things like this make me feel really good.
