About Me

Hello :-) I'm May. (Subin Choi in korea, call me whatever you want.) I am a student in Seoul, Korea. I studied history in university, so I'm interested in not only Korea but also other countries.

When I was 19 years old, I had a good chance and stayed in UK for a while. As a result, interest in the world became more interesting. After that time I traveled in several places, but it wasn't easy for me to blend in with the locals. It was just a simple tour. And it's always been a letdown for me.

I dont know how im gonna tell you about my character. Sometimes I'm impulsive, spontaneous, and bulldozers. And I think I'm likable and optimistic about most things. Also, my friends say that I have a straightforward personality. I'm always trying to look on the bright side and want my friends to feel comfortable around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Frankly I love meeting new people, hear their stories and get to know them. Also I hope to visit new something place and do a activity. My ultimate goal through couchsurfing is to experience the brand-new culture and make friends who grew up in different surrundings around the world. To do these things, through experience, using a hostel or a guest house had limits. I want to know how you live, what you eat, what you're doing and the difference between Korea and other countries.
