I love plants! I study botany, ecology, and plant population genetics and have been stoked on all the different plant communities here in Chile! My boyfriend Greg and I both love hiking and exploring nature, traveling, meeting new people, and drinking good beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend Greg and I have been doing WorkAway here in Chile and in Peru for the last 3 and a half months and are now spending our last few weeks just trying to see as much of Southern Chile as we can!

This is our first time using couchsurfing, so we do not have any references, but we do have three glowing references from the people we have stayed with using WorkAway which I have copied below:

Julia and Greg were the perfect workers! They were very helpful and hardworking. They were always willing to assist in any way we needed. They are very kind and interesting people, and they are fun to be around. Julia speaks great spanish and Greg has improved significantly. They were great with the customers as well. We would love to have them again. Any host who needs new volunteers should accept them! They are amazing. We will miss them.

Julia y Greg fueron los trabajadores perfectos! Son muy serviciales y trabajadores. Siempre estuvieron dispuestos a ayudar de cualquier manera que necesitáramos. Son personas muy amables e interesantes. Julia habla muy bien español y Greg ha mejorado significativamente. Ahora él puede communicarse con clientes y nosotros. También fueron excelentes con los clientes. Nos encantaría tenerlos de nuevo. ¡Cualquier anfitrión que necesite nuevos voluntarios debería aceptarlos! Los extrañaremos.

Julia and Greg stayed with us for 3 weeks and they are just incredible!! They are lovely, very proactive and a super easy going couple. From the first day we had very interesting conversations and a lot to share about the enviroment, nature, animals and different topics. They like to be outdoors, in fact Julia knows a lot about plants and it's very interesting to go with her for a walk because she knows almost everything about them.
They helped us a lot and we would highly recommend them!

We hope we see you again!

Julia y Greg llegaron a nuestro hogar el día martes 3 de octubre y pasaron con nosotros dos semanas muy entretenidas y alegres pues los dos son muy amorosos y trabajadores. Nos ayudaron a cortar ramas de los árboles y a mantener el jardín. También nos colaboraron mucho en el aseo y mantención de nuestro Bed & Breakfast-
Compartimos mucho con ellos,con nuestra familia y amigos. Se integraron muy bien. Son jóvenes dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Después de esta experiencia ya forman parte de nuestra familia.
