Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that everyone should get a chance to travel and explore a little bit more about our world, preferably on a budget. However, getting to know the beauty and culture of new places, getting in touch with some of the local people and their customs is also exciting.

Couchsurfing seems like one of the best solutions for this kind of experience and I hope that in the future I get a chance to find a host that makes me feel like I'm at home, shows me points of interest and teaches me more about their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's very hard for me to say specifically my taste in music. I listen to most of it, from classic rock, to pop, punk, modern rock, jazz, classical music, funk and progressive rock. However, I'm not a big fan of metal and music related to it. Basically, if I can dance to it, I like it.

My taste in movies is also really diverse . I enjoy some really good comedies (Monty Phyton, Woody Allen), sci-fi movies (Back to the Future is one of my favourite trilogies), animation (Pixar, Disney), suspense, indie, among others. Although, I'm not a big fan of horror movies. Besides all of this, I am a particular fan of Wes Anderson and Steven Spielberg.

Unfortunately, I haven't read as much as I would have liked to. I have read some books of Stephen King (Carrie and Misery) and some Harry Potter books as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some fun facts about the portuguese culture and its wonders, and also some about the fascinating beauties of Azores. All that aside, I can also show you some delicious gastronomy of Portugal.

I wish to learn anything that you can teach me. From knowing more about your culture to some life pro tips.

One thing I know for sure is that we'll share a laugh with everyone, great memories, a good time over some meals and drinks .

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will obey every rule of the house where I stay and I'll respect and appreciate the hospitality provided to me.

I'll also share with the host my availability to help in whatever I can in the house to make my stay as little of a nuisance as possible.

Besides all of this, I'll bring my joyous, good spirit to share some amazing moments with the host.
