About Me

Hello there! :-)

My name is Deborah and I really love traveling! Shocking I know, haha! In 2016 I spent 6 weeks in Scotland and I had a time of my life there. Ever since I am trying to travel as much as I can because I realised that it is something that makes me truly happy. A few years ago I spend the summer in France and had my first Couchsurfing experience there. Long story short it was just wonderful , I stayed with the family more times after and we even became friends!

Overall I volunteered in Scotland, France and Albania, all were summers I'll never forget. I've managed to visit some other places as well.

My travel bucket list seems to be never-ending and now that the pandemic seems to be finally over I would love to go on as many trips as my university and student budget allows... :D

I would say I'm a nice, talkative, and kind person and also a big dreamer! I love talking about anything and everything with people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I was introduced to couchsurfing by my friend and even though I was firstly scared to stay over at random people's place eventually I thought its such a genius idea! (of course when you follow some safety measures it's better to be safe than sorry, always!)

I love meeting new poeple, from various places. It always fascinate me to to listen to different stories and life experiences of the people I meet. And share our stories and opinions of course! :-)

Also, nothing better than when a local person can introduce you to their country and culture. Nobody knows better about it than poeple who actually live there. :-)

And I mean, the fact that couchsurfing also on top of everything helps you to save some money is just a cherry on the top of the cake. I'm a university student so my budget is limited and when I manage to save some money it means I can travel even more => make more unforgettable memories and meet more interesting people!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music spectrum is very wide! I like the classic, old school songs as well as some of the current songs. :) One of my favorite singers are Dua Lipa, Lea Michele and Ed Sheeran.

About movies, I like mostly the romantic movies and comedies. And I'm the person who grew up on the Harry Potter series... :D

However I also love me a good true crime documentary or a mysterious krimi drama. Yeah, I'm that kind of a girl haha!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to go to Scotland alone for 6 weeks as my first solo traveling experience.

I really like cooking and baking, so maybe we can cook a nice dinner together, also I can share experience from my travelling. I don't like being alone all the time, so maybe we can go for a walk or a trip together! :)
