My name is Charlie. A guy who loves to travel and meet new people. Moved to Taiwan in 2012 and have lived here then doing a exchange program to Spain.
I caught the travel bug in college and I found it infectious. I wanted to see more of what was outside of my hometown. You realize that the world is much bigger than where you grew up and that there are many people out there that have their own stories to share. I travel to learn.
Sometimes the best plan is not having a plan, so I don't have too much plans before travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing really helps see another country peoples life from inside.
I believe anyone can be good company if you take the time to get to know them so I'm always open to meeting new people. I enjoy getting to know a city from a local's perspective and I am always curious about cultural exchange - it is hands down the best way to get to know the city and learn about. What I find most fulfilling about traveling are the people you meet along the way, the engaging conversations about anything and everything, and the adventures you share. The travellers make me most excited about traveling.
