Hello to everyone who visited my profile, let me introduce myself. My name is Matej, im 22 yrs old and I come from Slovakia. I currently live in Aalborg where I am finishing my masters on Aalborg University called Development and International Relations. As you could guess from my programme I love to meet new people and cultures to discover more and more and to broaden my perspectives. Therefore I would love to host anyone who is in need of it, and if possible I would also like to get to know each other. If my part time job and studies allows it I could even provide a sightseeing trip around Aalborg :).

In my free time I like watching series, read some quality books or just chill and play fifa :). I also like sports, basically any kind ranging from team sports like football, volleyball up to individual sports, including chess :). But I am very competitive so dont be surprised if I'll be tryharding too much :D. I also love to cook when I have time and ingredients, experiment a little bit in the kitchen and host my friends by a dinner table. If others like my food, it brings me a lot of joy :D
If I have a lot of free time I love to spend it travelling somewhere, exploring the world, moving beyond my comfort zone. On the other hand sometimes I like to just go to places I've already been to hundred times, just to enjoy the chill it has always provided for me.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My main reason to be on Couchsurfing is to meet new people, to give them opportunity to make their trip low cost by hosting them. I love discussions about everything, sometimes I think I should have study philosophy. I would like to listen to stories of my hosts about their travells, and possibly use that knowledge in my future trips.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

When it comes to music, I have no defining genre, I like basically everything, from classical music, up till pop :D

I am a bit a nerd regarding movies and books cause I am a diehard fan of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, I have read all Harry Potter books 2 times. Apart from those I really enjoy watching series of any kind, my favourites are GoT, Westworld, Stranger Things etc. Also I have watched over and over again all episodes of HIMYM, Big Bang theory and Two and a half man
Now that I am writing this I must admit that I am spending way much more time in front of my TV than I should :D

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

It is hard to define one thing, since I've done so many, but I would like to discuss those rather in person, since making it public on internet might lead to prejudices :D
Just one of them was when me and my friends decided that we want to go see a match of Champions League between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid just about a week before the match. Immediately after that began incredible and crazy hunt for tickets for the match, ways of transport to get there, looking for accomodation. But in the end we managed to get everything we wanted, and enjoyed a great football match
