Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet local people, make travelling more intense and learn something new about the world and myself. I´m also trying to find a flexible and a cheap accommodation on my trips, but that´s not the point, just a positive externality. :-D

As a host I enjoy the atmosphere when there is more people than usual in my flat. It makes my place completely different every time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic rock and I´m into heavy metal (feel myself as a part of Maiden family \m/ - Up the Irons!). As active bass player I enjoy playing rock and grunge music with my band the most. Besides this I listen to punk and ska music occasionally. From time to time it´s really refreshing for me to listen jazz or classical music as well.
Can´t live without music - I attend a lot of shows as a fan or artist and enjoying it.

As for books my favourite ones are A Prayer for Owen Meany, The Little Prince and the rest depends on mood. Movies and series: BBC Amazing Planet series, Walking with Dinosaurs series, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Forrest Gump, Rush, Red Dwarf and Black Books.

I try to expand my fields in many areas, mainly in sociology, politics, science, biology and history. We can also discuss sports, music, agriculture, alcohol, poetry, religion or whatever we find interesting.
