Hey guys,

we're Katie and Hermann and started our trip around the world in November 2017. We have no time frame, no exact route, no specific plans which countries we want to visit. :) We just want to travel for a few years and live our dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to get to know the country and it's people and not only rush to the next sightseeing hot spots and leave again. We want to experience the real deal! Meet people who are passionate about their country, who love meeting fellow travellers, who just like to have a good time and are willing to share a few days of their lifes with us.

We're interested in culture, food and outdoor activities.

We've startet CS about a year ago, had wonderful experiences in every country we've surfed and made friends around the entire globe. Hope to meet you all again one day. 💚

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Both worked on a cruise ship and left Germany with our backpacks back in 2012. Ever since we're traveling and living overseas.

We spent almost 2 years in beautiful New Zealand and 3,5 years in Australia (the Kimberleys).

This whole experience opened our minds and made us realize what we really want in life and what makes us happy. And that is traveling. 100%!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our amazing travel stories, good company, laughters or a home cooked meal (we're both chefs).

We're quiet, clean and easy going. Non - smokers, but we love a bottle of beer now and again. That's one typical german thing about us. :)
