About Me

I believe there's poetry hidden in everything, in the ordinary and the extraordinary, in mornings and nights, in big cities and small villages and wild landscapes. I love meeting inspired and inspiring people, finding out about their opinions, passions, dreams and experiences. Most of all, I'm passionate about hearing people's stories. In the end, the world is not made of atoms, it is made of stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2017/2018, I spent a year in europe on an exchange programme. My starting point was Salamanca, Spain, where my host university was, but I went to many more amazing places and got to know many amazing people along the way. Now, I am back for my master's degree. I love the spirit of couchsurfing, of sharing moments together, as well as stories, dreams, food, words in any language, knowledge os various kinds. It has brought me to some nice people and I don't wish them to be the last.

Music, Movies, and Books

My interests are quite varied. They range from History and psychology to Feng shui and eastern philosophy. I'm also into dancing and guitar playing, learning foreign languages and trying to understand world politics.
I find it quite difficult to pinpoint favorite stuff, in any category, because we change over time and our top 5 always changes with us. But let's try a sketch:
Into the Wild, Her, Medianeras, Argentine and French cinema in general, the Before trilogy, Amélie Poulain, Downtown Abbey, Call the midwife, Outlander. (TV)
Elena Ferrante, Jane Austen, The Brontë sisters, Pablo Neruda, Fernando Pessoa, Machado de Assis. (Literature)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've learned to appreciate the opportunites I have, the people who are around me and the gift of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of Forró and Samba, words in the languages I love speak, tell the stories I've lived while traveling inside Brazil and in Europe. My enthusiasm and passion for life and all the living beings!
