About Me

Chill, considerate guy seeks short-term arrangement with couch (or floor or tent, whatever works).
I love taking the time to get to know people and have genuine conversations about their world and views, it's the only way to truly understand a new place.

I'm happy to work around any schedule, good with complex directions, and strive to be a good guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just graduated from university, traveling around Eastern and Central Europe before I start my job. I love meeting new people and seeing how others live day-to-day!

Seriously, just do your normal thing and I'm happy to work around you. It's wonderful if you have time to hang out and talk, but I understand if you have a busy week. I'm just thrilled to have a couch and I get the chance to buy you a tea or beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Wapshot Chronicle by John Cheever, 11/22/63 by Stephen King

Movie: one of the Bourne Trilogy, please don't make me choose!

Music: lots, but when I'm alone on a bus I listen to RHCP, Cold War Kids, and Sting

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I actually ate a single Lays potato chip.

Also I climbed the Knife Edge of Mt. Katahdin, Baxter State Park, Maine. Most scared I've ever been in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm 22 so I doubt I have much to teach. But I like to learn the basics of the language where I'm staying and happy to lend a hand in the kitchen or with projects.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Recently did my thesis on the statistical relationship between urban crime levels and reading the Christian Bible.

Also fun and weird hiking stories, cool places I've sung with choirs, and you can use the bottle-opener on my backpack anytime you need it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Turkey, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
