I am a Russian lady who studied linguistics in University dreaming to become an interpreter and whos dream came true in the end. For several years I worked as an interpreter in a big Russian agricultural company where I met a lot of interesting people with incredibly diverse perception of life! And that is what I like about new acquaintances – they can change your mind, open it for new ideas and visions, not to make them your own but at least to see a different side of any question.
I also studied German in University but it got pretty rusty without practice. I am in the process of brushing it up!
I for sure like travelling (like anybody else in this network I believe ), it makes life matter.
I position myself as an open-minded, positive and friendly person.
I adore music! Oh, man, sometimes it feels I can’t live without it. This is the greatest treasure the humankind has. Sadly, I didn’t go to any music schools why I still was a child thus I don’t have music education, but at times I make attempts to learn to play the guitar.
I am primarily a metal-head, but depending on my mood I can go into to some pop, deephouse, chill out, new age and some other atmospheric stuff.
I like sports, all kinds of sports. That doesn’t mean that I do many of them however XD I like mountain skiing, hiking. I promise myself to try water skiing once, snowboarding will go right after...and anything else I can get involved into.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is wonderful, but when you have a chance to talk to locals it becomes a completely different experience. I like to leanr things which I not mentioned in the travel guides!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like metal, such bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation, Halestorm, Evergrey, Powerwoolf, Lacuna Coil and many many others. Intrumental, chill out, new age, electronic music like that of Schiller, Enigma, Conjure One aslo can be found in my playlist. In general I love sounds that carry you away from this mad at times world.

As for books: I am a fan of Amélie Nothomb. Her stories bring out all types of emotions out of you.
