I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am proud to be from the Bay Area, but it does not stop me from exploring other parts in the states and the world. These past three years, I been doing majority of my traveling ,especially, because I served as a Youth Development Volunteer in Swaziland, Africa for 27 months. Now my journey continues with moving across the country to pursue a masters in Global Inclusion and Social Development. After living in Swaziland for two years, I learned the best method of learning about a local areas and customs is through the local people.
I see Couchsurfing as an opportunity to see the true areas of countries of interest. I am easily amused and easily interact with people. I do not need a full day of activities because a conversation about your life and local customs is good enough for me.

I would love to share a meal with you if it is possible. In all my couch-surfing experiences, I have cooked a meal for the host as a token of appreciation for the hospitality and new friendship.
For the first lesson, due to high volume of request, I will only consider people who starts their message with the word “Sawubona.” This is a greeting of hello in Siswati.
