About Me

I'm Mark. I used to be a highschool teacher in economics when I was still living in my home country. Currently I'm traveling the world to see what else is there to explore. I'm a big music enthusiast and I'm mainly into alternative music. I play the guitar, I can sing and play some other instruments. I'm into movies, art and other kinds of cultural interests. I like to have a laugh and take life not too seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly I'm couchsurfing because of my travels. I would really like to explore new places in it's full authenticity and wander off the beaten tracks. I also would like to meet new interesting and exciting people to hang around with, learn about new cultures and talk about life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if anything I've done would considered to be amazing by the majority of people. Although the days that I was in a band and played numerous gigs was quite amazing for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been a teacher for many years, so I've kind of grown accustomed to the activity. I think I might have something to teach and share about music, economics, sustainability, food, biotechnology, but honestly I'll talk about most things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself to be open minded, humurous, flexible and interested in many things. I'm not easily offended by anything and I think anyone is entitled to ones opinion. Since I have a lot of spare time, I can share that too.
