Overview
About Me
I am a person with an interest in discovering what life has to offer, exploring every nook and cranny of this marvelous world and meeting like-minded individuals. Traveling is of course one of my biggest passions, and discovering couchsurfing last year has made me realized how much I enjoy doing that. My studies leave me little time for it but I still try to do as much as possible. About my personality, in broad terms I enjoy taking life not too seriously but at the same time I will occasionally spend an inordinate amount pursuing my latest passion in life. Also I'm laid-back, open-minded, chill and happy to do whatever it is that I'm doing in this very moment (even writing this paragraph!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Last year, I stumbled upon this website by chance through a recently acquainted person during my ERASMUS year in Leipzig. With that person we both travelled through Europe (they did the requesting since at that time I wasn't a member) doing Couchsurfing and I quickly found out how much I loved doing exactly that: Getting to know extraordinary people with warm hearts and different cultures that would show me how much I still had to learn about the world and enjoying their company, whereupon I decided to create my own couchsurfing profile.
Music, Movies, and Books
During childhood and adolescence I was instilled a love for classical componists since I began playing the piano at the age of 5. However limited, this corner was for me a beautiful spot in my life where time and space blurred together for hours. Later on, as I began exploring other artists and styles I began to enjoy more varied styles of music, ranging from avant-garde rock bands like Can, Neu!, Amon Düül II, Kraftwerk, jazz players like pharoah sanders, Ornette Coleman to the trance-likes waves of Ajja. Every now and then I'll listen to a random song that titillates me and makes me investigate further on it.
