Hey :) I'm Renata, nice to meet you! I'm from this wonderful life and this wonderful world and I wanna share with you what I generally and especific am. I wanna know people, I wanna be in contact with more cultures, I wanna see eyes and listen to different souls. I just want to connect with me and with you, I think I wanna find some friends I haven't meet yet. I just wanna live, I just wanna learn, experiment, laugh, listen, walk, feel.

I live in Guadalajara, Mexico, I study Literature and Linguistics in the University of Guadalajara 'cause I love stories and my dream has always been to be a writer. I know studies are not necessary for that but I just love learning and reading.

My travel experiences are very good, I'm far to be experimented but I enjoy what I have and wherever I go. I try to travel around my city on weekends, around my country on vacations and outside on long vacations (and when my wallet says yes, of course haha).

Some curiosities of me: I'm a cat lover, a sea lover, a culture lover, and a good vibe lover :) I'm vegetarian, I enjoy dancing (especially flamenco but I'm always willing to dance any kind of music), I enjoy walking, writing, telling stories, listening to other people, finding the wisdom in everyone and everything, focusing in the light side of things, opening my mind, taking risks, watching sunsets (wherever and however they are, they just remind me my fleeting existence on earth) and for the above, giving away smiles in our faces :)

I choose Couchsurfing because as I said before, I'm excited to meet my next friend. I want to meet her/him and talk and listen and walk and do whatever we choose to have fun :) I want to exchange good moments and good memories! I am looking for an easy-going person who is also looking for a new friend.

My philosophy of life is that although everything is changing, we remain as what we essential are: love and connection. I'm traveling because I'm going after that goal: to touch in another place and culture different to where I am that love and that connection, in me and in others. I also think every person and place has it's own magic and I love discovering it. I'm honest, respectful and I love being grateful. *Buuut, just to say, I'm not that serious all the time, I love laughing and having good times, I think laughing about life and myself is one of the bests parts of life :)

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm excited to meet my next friend, I want to exchange cultural experiences and to share good moments. I don't want just to meet new people, I want to get to know the person, her/his vision of the world, passions, hobbies, wonders, routine and learn everything they wanna share with me :) I'm opened to experience the most I can of the country I am in that moment and to leave behind, wherever I go, good memories in good people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love music, my favorite kind is post rock, indie, jazz and techno but I like every type of music as long as it makes me vibe! I love reading everything that makes me think and that let me touch deeply my feelings.
I also like very much the regional/native music.
For music, my favorite group is Sigúr Rós, Múm, Amiina, Nicolas Jaar, Alt-J, Devendra Banhart, Chet Baker, Gorillaz...
For movies, I like watching thrillers and fantasy :) Also I love series: Breaking Bad, Stranger Things, Rick and Morty, Narcos, Money Heist (La casa de papel), The OA, Black Mirror, The Queen...
Some of my favorite writers are: Clarice Lispector, Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, Juan Rulfo, Fernando Pessoa.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Two years ago I did a volunteer in Costa Rica, with UESPRA (through AIESEC). We reforested damaged areas, did turtle patrol and cleaned some beaches. It was amazing, one of the best experiences I've ever have... It was a magical summer (we planted 3000 trees!).
I also did volcano boarding, which consisted in hiking an active volcano and then sliding all down on a surfboard. It was super cool :)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm opened to teach, learn and share as much as possible :) I could teach you spanish words, mexican expressions, to cook some mexican dishes, and much more :) And of course I would be glad to learn absolutely everething you wanna share with me. Also we would share very good moments and good talks :)

I will be happy to share with you what I know and what I am :) I can cook some dishes for you, I can do cleaning... the thing I will give you for sure is good moments, good vibes, good memories and smily moments. Also I can share with you some of my poems!
