Overview
About Me
I am a student. I refer not only to the fact that I attend currently to the university, but also that I consider myself as a person that is always learning and hopes never to stop. I like to walk, to talk, to perceive, to eat new things. But I do not think that we only learn new things far away from home, but also one can find many interesting things in the next corner. I like to reflect on everything around me, but sometimes it is overwhelming for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that the best way to learn about a country and culture, especially when one cannot stay a bunch of time there, is across the local people, across their histories, their places, their fears and hopes, their food and their daily routines. Al the least, that is what I learned from my experience with my host family and friends in Germany. In the other hand, I think that the value of solidarity is very beautiful, and it could facilitate to others to travel around the globe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once in Germany (2015) I was a whole week with my host family in the Alpen. We hiked all the 7 days. The travel went across the natural park of "Steinernes Meer", the views are fantastic. I will never forget it. There I discovered or reaffirmed my to love to the mountains (There is a photo in the "Photos" section).
One year ago I traveled alone (with CouchSurfing) to Istambul, Turkey. It was the most wonderful experience in the world, I would travel back, I loved so much that city and her history.
Teach, Learn, Share
I consider myself a very curious person, my career is the sociology (so I love to learn and reflect about everything on the social world across the geography and history), but I do love the anatomy (I have an anatomy book to colour), the nature, the geography, the agriculture, the robotics (I have a little Arduino), the music (I play occasionally the piano), the natural sciences. But I look forward to speaking, listen and learn about everything. If you have questions about my country, I can try to answer them.
This year in a course about "human geography", I learned that I do not know anything about many interesting places in the world, and I have started to read literature from Sub-Saharan and China. But my dream is to read literature from each region of the world (one day).
I also like the music, literature, and theater, but I consider myself an ignorant
I would learn about your culture, histories and food.
What I Can Share with Hosts
-I can share at the least some Colombian typical food with the host, I can teach you to cook it, do it together, and I will carry the necessary ingredients!
-I like to share information about Colombia and Latinamerica
-We can share interesting conversations and many laughs
- I would be very happy if we can hike, bike or walk in the city our around it.
