About Me

CURRENTLY BACKPACKING AROUND THE WORLD

A lithuanian who loves travelling, dancing and is interested in East Asian cultures and languages. I like all types of outdoor activities from jogging in the forest and playing soccer to skiing and climbing mountains.

I'm actually shy when I encounter new people or have to leave my comfort zone. But if I overcome myself and conquer my fears, that is the best thing I can do for myself in order to love myself more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel while getting to know the culture of the country I'm visiting. Also I like listening to host's travel stories, they inspire me very much.

Interests

I have a lot of interests, the only problem is that I am not able to stick to one thing for a long time – I tend to give up and pick up new hobbies easily.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listening to music is half of my life! I listen to basically everything: indie, folk, kpop, classical, r&b, rap, jazz... According to my mood.
As for my favourite movie, I guess it's Memento (and Christopher Nolan movies in general). I haven't read any books recently, but I want to start reading the book which inspired BTS' songs – 'The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I've slept in a cave in the mountains in Italy only with a sleeping bag during a lightning storm (and the temperature was below 0 degrees Celsius).

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to hear people's travel stories, funny or scary experiences and I can share my own. I could teach you some Lithuanian, too! (Not a very useful language to know, because only 3 million people speak it :D)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not sure what I can offer hosts. I guess meeting a lithuanian itself is a big accomplishment (because there are so little of us). I'd be happy to spend time with and just do what you usually do. I know how to play a ukulele if you're interested to learn. :D Honestly, I don't have a lot of talents or stories that I can share. I just hope to be a tidy and pleasant guest. Even if you're busy but still want to host me, I can be just fine on my own. :)
