About Me
hey dear people!
my name is lisa but actually i prefer when people call me frida. some time ago i realised that i don't have to bear the name my parents choosed for me, so i thought about getting a new one.i ended up with frida- after frida kahlo, my favorite artist and a unbelievable strong woman.
i think i would describe myself as open minded, tolerant and curious person.
for me it is really important to respect people for what they are and be aware of different wishes and needs.
here are some things i love: meeting my friends and have nice talks and discussions, cows, reading a good (philosophic or political) book and drinking a cup of tea meanwhile, listening to live music on concerts (preferably punk music) and dance pogo, drinking beer and communicate with people,drawing/painting for hours, planting herbs in my little garden plot (and collecting knowledge about healing herbs), learning and improving guitar, going to demonstrations with friends/being political active, tackling with a mixing desk and sound systems, practising kung fuand so on
i am vegetarian but now that i am traveling i decided to eat meat,if people offer to me.
No racism,No sexism, No homophobia,No transphobia, No antisemitism, No clasism,No fascism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up in hamburg and lived my whole life there and i feel that it's now the time to get out of my comfort zone.
I am curious to see the world out there, of meeting new people, new landscapes, new cultures and food.
I want to exchange experiences, knowledge, ideas and stories.
i would love to meet humans from all over the world, get a little insight into their life, become friends with them… i think the idea of having friends all over the world is beautiful!
for me it is really important to be surrounded by people and get new input from them. traveling, cooking, telling stories, cleaning, watching movies,discussing...all of it makes more fun together than alone.
for me it is not about seeing as many cities/sights as possible but to connect with humans and their way of living.
so i think couchsurfing is a wonderful way to get to know a country in a deeper way- from another view as from a tourist guide book.

Music, Movies, and Books
i love to listen to punk music-especially female punk. some really nice bands are talco, rise against, days n daze, tranki punki, bife, 2 minutos, anti corpos..
i also listen to songwriter music, hip hop and balkan music- check out lady lazy, sookee, ando drom, konny kleinkunstpunk;)
and tracy chapman!
hmm 'favorite movies' that's a hard question. i don't watch movies often but i really enjoyed 'this is england' and also 'captain fantastic' - yeah i think those could be my favorite movies. i also loved the series 'black mirror'and 'dear white people'
there are so many books i loved reading and which i would strongly suggest: 'the deadship' by traven, 'the book thief' by markus zusak, 'auerhaus' by bov bjerk, '1984'by george orwell, 'our piece of punk' , 'the 13 1/2 lives of capitain bluebear' by walter moers and so on and so on..
