Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going backpacking on my own for 10 days from Lisboa to Faro, during which I'd love to meet locals and discover towns and cities along the way. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to do this!

Interests

I'm currently studying Clinical Technology, which is some sort of technical medicine. Besides that, I practice Track&Field 4 times a week, mainly for the 400m but I run a 100m and 200m every now and then too. In the future, I'd like to combine my interests in sports and technology to work on designing prosthetics for (professional) athletes. Furthermore, I like the cliche book-reading, movie watching and I love watching series (GoT, Walking Dead, Vikings etc.).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: depends on the week, basically. Currently listening to Childish Gambino and a lot of Tropical House. Also love Kygo and Macklemore.
For books, every book with a great story and plot twist is a book I'd like to read. Same goes for movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got 5th place in the Junior National Championships on the 400m last July, which made me realise how much I love my sport and how much more I'd like to improve to achieve greater goals.
