I am a 22 year old from a smallish town Salaspils in a beautiful country Latvia. I play various music instruments and sing in a vocal ansemble where I have gotten an opportunity to meet some of the most amazing people I know. I work at Riga InternationaI Airport as a ground handling agent. Every work day I get to send people off to some cool destination and wonder what's it's like there, so I add it to my travel list. I also enjoy meeting people and consider myself a very open and optimistic person. Sometimes I've got too much to say and sometimes too little but never have I ever had no opinion about something.

I think nowdays with the comfort people are used to, we are robbed of the opportunity of actually experiencing human interaction while visiting new places and generally traveling around the globe. Couchsurfing seems like a very nice set-back to an authentic traveling and actually gives you the taste of the place you are at, you get to interact with real life humans instead of maybe catching the maid of a hotel making your bed.
