I'm Silvia and I am currently working as an au pair in the US.
A few months ago I decided to step out of my comfort zone, and start a new chapter of my life in the United States.
It's not been easy to part from my friends and family, but as we say in Italy: it's not a "goodbye", but an "I'll see you later".
In the few months I've been here, I had the chance to travel to lots of different places and meet a lot of new people. Some of them have crossed my path just for a day or two, others instead are still walking along with me. (That was really cheesy, but whatever).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! I'd say almost every kind of music, besides hardcore rap. The music I listen to strongly depends on my mood. From Ed Sheeran, to Linkin Park/Sum 41 to Skrillex. I can also play a bit of guitar and I'm trying to learn how to play the piano too.

I really like watching movies and TV series, I'd say my favorite genres are horror/thriller, but I can't stand any romantic movie.

I have too many favorite books to pick one, I think that's because I read a lot!

I am always open to teach things about my culture, like how to cook italian food or just some italian language.
I'd love to learn something new everytime: a new culture, a new place or just another person's adventures.

I could share all the experiences I did travelling and visiting places. As well as a good insight on Italian culture and all the screts on our hand gestures!
