About Me
Hello fellow traveller/ people enthusiast,
Allow me to introduce myself. My grandmother thinks I am quite a catch but then again she wears crocs in public. Anyway, I am currently pursuing a degree in culture and Business at university in Oxford and intend on being a news presenter in the future. I am a big fan of dinner parties, summer caledonian balls, horse riding, deep meaningful conversations about the ineffectiveness of gender constructs and authentic traveling. I am a stand up comedian in London and would be so grateful if I had the opportunity to stay with you.
Regards,
Rohan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have had the extra-ordinary opportunity of working with an organization called Humans of Bombay, a small organization that intends on creating an exhaustive catalogue of the people of Bomaby, India.
My Job essentially required me to go out into the streets of Mumbai and interact with random pedestrians with the hope of capturing their lives through written interviews I would conduct and photos I would click. Witnessing the common denominators that bind the human experience while speaking to a heterogenous bunch of people was a truly one of the most fulfilling and eye-opening experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be happy to establish a symbiotic relationship with my host where we are both able to share stories and experiences from our lives with each other. As a queer person of color with a very strong British and Indian identity, I think sharing the intersections of my complex identity would make for a great story and leaning opportunity for any recipient. I would love to teach my host some pottery and how to lay the table in an Italian way.
