About Me

Currently living in Dublin, Ireland where I'm working with an amazing charity and coaching clients.
I'm passionate about world wandering and meeting new people and have lots of experience surfing and hosting people organically through meeting in person and making a connection.
I'm not super in love with writing personal bios and just filling in enough details to verify my profile so I can get back to meeting people. Always happy to exchange things in chats once I know who I'm speaking to.
Currently updating this for short notice hosting requests and hope to expand on it when I return home and have more time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had amazing experiences through couchsurfing as both a surfer and a host and would love to start building up a network of references and verified friends as all my previous surfing has been done off this platform or on someone elses profile.
I currently have a welcoming home and would love to get back to hosting people from all around the world so I'm using this site to hopefully build up a list of people who can verify me as a good host and guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My favourite genre is Film and Game OST's (Original Soundtracks) but I like to think I listen to a lot of different music. I don't generally listen to the top hits, pop or trad but I like to stay open to new things so I dont really exclude anything.

Movies: Anything that hits me in some way that other movies don't.
28 days later, The Road, The Matrix and a million other too probably. I also really love good animation from Anime and Studio Ghibli movies to random indies from youtube.

Books: Recently returned to reading after years away and going through an elder scrolls novel, The disaster artist and a psychology book in my spare time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont want to choose a favourite from the list of incredible travel experiences I've had.
Japan, Norway and Canada have some of the best highlights which I hope to save for conversations with fellow surfers and hosts but overall, being able to travel as much as I have and meeting amazing people above all else has been the best thing I could mention.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been told I can be a lot of fun so that's ideally number one on the list.
I really enjoy conversation and getting to know people and their passions, even if the subject is not something I know about.

I can cook, clean and organise things.

I play guitar and bass (and help teach beginners) and a little bit of drums, percussion and piano.

I'm good with art and technology and can lend some advice in areas like art, design, music, graphics and ideally anything creative.

I have some experience in life coaching and career guidance. Not formally qualified but working in a relevant field for over a year now. I love getting to know people and helping them with finding clarity in their direction. More of a casual thing as part of a natural converstaion but still something I like to do and be a part of.

I hung up my controller a while ago but I still know my way around video games if anyone likes to play.
