Hi, this is Alexis, a passionate communicator, which grow up in a very small town in Colombia. Started his trip in Europe in 2016. Studied Media Production for 2 years and now is finishing his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism, awarded by the National Open University of Colombia (online).

I currently live in Woking, Surrey in England, very close to London (about 25 mins by train) and work in Dorking (Surrey), very close to the Surrey Hills, an amazing mountain full of deers, foxes and totally shows the British nature (is considered as National Natural Reserve).

I work as a Conference Researcher for 3 events in Vienna, Cologne and Stuttgart and Conference Manager for 1 small event in Stuttgart, Germany.

As part of my bachelor degree I focused my entire undergraduate courses in explore the human beings as natural communicators and for me, studying a Master in Anthropology, Sociology or Cultures would be a real dream!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joint Couchsurfing a while ago for meet people and new cultures but never used honestly. Now I´m back because I will spend a lot of days in Amsterdam (with my friends in different locations as hotel and hostal) but I will take an extra day for myself discover the culture with someone who can be local or unless live around for enough time :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My job and I did the Model of United Nations in the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA... it was a-we-so-me! And I would recommend it to everyone!!!

I volunteered 8 years in a charity which helps cats, dogs, horses and donkeys in Cartago, Colombia :D It was fab.
