Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz music and lately I listen salsa music a lot. Drum & bass comes once in a while as a refreshment. Or classical.
As for the movies - thrillers, drama, animated...
Books? Oh yeah, I read a book once...in the first grade of elementary school, it was tough...never have I ever tried that again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once upon a time there was a group of extraordinary people, alone in the dark, up on a stage. I was just preparing to go step up in front of hundreds of people, just to dance. My legs were shaking. The lights gloriously turned on when the host announced my team. We were all sweating. The music started playing & we began casting our magic. We danced freely across the floor, spreading out with our bodies like butterflies emerging from cocoon. I forgot few steps in choreography. It was like a microsecond when "what the hell am I doing?" thought crossed my mind. Somehow I managed to improvise and actually blend in with the rest of the group, even though I was the first one on the stage. People were silent, and mesmerized! We had fun time up there, it was my first dance performance... Crowd cheered so loud when we finished, we didn't get flowers thrown at us like in theaters sadly, but one chocolate bar came flying right at me. I missed to catch it, so it hit me. What a relief...at least it wasn't a brick. Nah, just kidding, no chocolate bars for me, I'm on a diet.
I was so glad it was over. Teammates hugged each other. We were so happy and some of us even cried happy tears. Even our dance instructors didn't know we made mistakes. It was a fine night indeed.
And the festival ended.
