Hi!

My name is Daan.
I am an easy-going curious and open-minded person that likes to try new stuff. I love to go for a hike and I like to climb (although I am not yet experienced with climbing in the outdoor). Furthermore I enjoy to learn about other cultures and their (apparently strange?) habits. E.g. I am always in to try new food and so far the only food challenge I did not bear was a very very spicy soup in Thailand (it burned twice ;).
Furthermore I like sports, photography and catching a movie.

Oh and as a small side note: you will sometimes find me being totally fascinated by a seemingly ordinary rock or fossil. Don't worry it is just a strange habit of us geoscientists.

Some fellow students and I found a few dinosaur bones when we were mapping an area in Aliaga, Aragon in eastern Spain. Unfortunately only the photos remain because we handed over our discoveries to the local authority.
