Hey I'm Léo, I'm a traveller from Belgium and I'm always down for an adventure!
When I'm not travelling, I love spending time in nature, be it trekking, trail running, moutain biking or climbing. I come from an area surrounded by forests so when I come back home it's always a great place to unwind.
On the opposite end of that, I'm interested in technologies and I'm currently studying natural language processing, a subfield of AI dealing with, you guessed it, languages and computers.
Another special interest of mine is learning more about the nature of reality and conscioussness. I'm a daily meditator and follow the compassionate path of the Buddha.

I believe travelling and connecting with people from different backgrounds is a very humbling and enriching experience . Therefore I'd love meeting new people who may have different opinions or ways of seeing the world. I am on CS to meet interesting people, share a moment together, exchange ideas.
I'm interested in both hosting and staying as a guest. I have a bit of experience travelling and I know for certain that the foundest memories I keep from my travels are the connections I've made with people from all walks of life.
I have made myself available as a host but unfortunately never got a request, most likely due to my profile having no reference and the fact that I live in a remote place.

Music: I have eclectic tastes, I like to listen to hip hop, drum and bass, dub, house, techno, funk, jazz, soul, classic, trip hop,...
Books: Non-fiction or fiction, I try to read as much as I can. Authors who have inspired me are, among others, Aldous Huxley, Herman Hesse, Alan Watts, Philip K. Dick, Yuval Harari, Terrence McKenna.

I would like to cook you a meal. Asides from chips and chocolate there aren't many Belgian dishes but I like cooking differents foods from around the world. I'll share some stories, teach the languages that I speak. I'm happy to help around!
